OUR MISSION
BRINGING THE PRINCESS MAGIC TO YOU
CROWNE is a non-profit organization that brings the magic of live interaction and performance with beloved Disney characters to children who are unable to experience it otherwise.
Who We Are
CROWNE is based in California and travels to children's hospitals around the Bay Area. We spread Disney magic through personal interaction, storybooks, puppet play, and vocal performance. CROWNE does not charge any fees for its services. We are mainly comprised of college and high school students with theatre performance backgrounds.
History
I originally launched CROWNE with a passion for Disney, theatre, and poofy dresses! CROWNE has brought me so much joy for very personal reasons. In 2010, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. During a very terrifying time, I saw how much of a positive impact small gestures such as kind words, big smiles, and a little bit of laughter had on my family. Five years after that, I was able to see these actions reappear by playing Disney princesses onstage.
There is an undeniable happiness and optimism that comes with Disney songs and characters. I have seen kids jump up and down with excitement when meeting a Disney princess after a show full of upbeat and inspiring music!
However, so many others are not able to attend a show or go to Disneyland and experience the magic. For these reasons, it is my goal to spread as much joy as I can through a shared love of Disney.
